Mango Fix

All ideas came up during 2003. Thanks to their busy “western” lives, Mango Fix became fully established three years after, which can be mistakenly tagged with tropical drinks. But hey,
Mango Fix owners reside in Northern California and are originally from the East Bay. The idea of opening an Island-Themed business was thought of in 2003, but due to their busy “western” lives, working full time positions, along with spending time with their family, Mango Fix was not established until 2006. The concept of trying to represent the Filipino culture through women, men, and youth apparel is what inspired the owners to start the business. They soon changed their minds to not just design apparel for the Filipino Islanders, but to also modify and cater to all Pacific Islanders such as the Polynesian culture. And though their clothing are “Island Themed”, they still grab much attention from all ethnic and age backgrounds.
Many ask why the name Mango Fix? So many love and miss the essence of the tropical and exotic islands. Mangos are a very popular, tropical, juicy fruit of the Philippines. So the word “Mango” is to symbolize the “Islands”. So here on the mainland/”the States”, they would like to give you a fix-A Mango Fix-that Island Feel to remind you of the culture and how beautiful the Islands are.
Though there are many islander-type apparel businesses, Mango Fix continues to carry their own unique style. Unlike some of their competitors, they use American Apparel, a well-known and high quality brand, based out of downtown Los Angeles, for 90% of their products. They strive to keep their customers happy by making them feel comfortably hip, stylish, and yet still looking classy with that urban flavor-and of course, for the ladies….”Sophisticated-Sexy”. Most importantly, we want our clients to be able to wear our clothing while they’re out and about-and not to just have as a “souvenir” stashed somewhere in their closet.
Currently, the Mango Fix store can only be found online and at special vendor shows and ethnic festivals. The Mango Fix vision is to be recognized as a popular brand for all and to someday be available in major department stores worldwide.
If you would like to get shirts customized, feel free to email us with your information and what you would like made. This would be a great idea for sports teams (spirit wear for soccer, basketball, cheerleading, baseball), church groups, halaus, and even dance troops.
